Recreation
- These teams are divided into
divisions by age and only play against other teams within the Pemberton Soccer Club.
Micro Midgets -
Micro
Midgets are introduced to fun, basic skill games and play 3v3 soccer
on a 50
x75 ft. field with no goalkeepers. This division is restricted to
3 and 4 year olds. 5 year olds may play provided it is their first season and
based on their
level of skill.
Midgets -
Midgets
play 6v6 with goalkeepers on a 150 x 90 ft. field. Midgets are
introduced to basic
soccer positions and basic
offensive and defensive skills. This division consist of 5, 6, and 7
year old players.
Juniors -
Juniors are
introduced and play 8v8 soccer with goalkeepers on a 200 x 140 ft.
field. This
division is geared towards preparing players to enter the travel
divisions and
therefore the rules are similar to those used by F.I.F.A.. This
division consist of 8,9, and 10 year old players.
Seniors
-
The Senior
Division is primarily for those players and families that are not
interested in
Traveling Teams. The size of field and the number of players will be
adjusted from
season to season to accommodate enrollment. This division consist of
11,12, and 13 year old players. Players who turn 14 before the
season ends is not eligible to play in this division
